Munnar, with sprawling tea plantations, charming towns, winding lanes and exotic flora, is a popular resort town in Kerala. Without a doubt, it is one of the most visited tourist destinations in Kerala. Munnar is the largest tea-growing region and one of the best hill stations in South India. This quaint town, located in the Western Ghats of Kerala, is set at an altitude of around 5,200 feet (1,600 metres) above sea level.
